journey retreat 2012

An important event is coming up in March for our middle school youth!  The Jeremiah Project ministry is offering a retreat in Goshen, VA from March 23-25, and we are going to be taking a group from New Town.  This is really going to be a great weekend, and I'm encouraging all of our middle school youth to attend.  Check out this website for more information - http://www.journeyweekend.org  We send a team to serve with Jeremiah Project each summer, and this promises to be a powerful weekend for our middle school youth with fun, worship, teaching, and equipping.

You'll be hearing more about this important trip in the coming weeks, but please mark your calendars now!.  The cost for this trip will be $90.  A $30 deposit will be due on February 19 and the balance of $60 will be due on March 11 (checks should be made out to New Town UMC).  If you want your youth to attend but are concerned about the money, we understand!  Please let us know, and we can usually work out something (either with partial scholarships or alternate payment schedules).  

We are capping this trip at 30 youth, so please do not wait to register!  We will take New Town youth group attendees first, and then open it up to friends if there are still spaces.
